Inka Gold premium gilding polish provides quite lovely  pearlescent shimmering colours. It does not have any toxic chemicals and beeswax is one of the main ingredients.    Several think layers is the best way to apply.  Once dry it polished to a brilliant shine.  It has the advantage of being in a tube and thus less likely to dry out.
